About the Club

• Colonial Yacht Club is a group folks who either own boats, or have an interest in boating, and enjoy doing it with a fun group.
• We hold land gatherings in February thru April, and September thru December.
• We try to do at least one weekend cruise each month from June thru September.  In addition, we'll often take shorter day trips.
• We host 2 Fishing Tournaments (Spring & Fall)which help raise money to provide Scholarships to students from Colonial Beach High School.
• We also host two boat Parades (June & November) during the year -- for the enjoyment Colonial Beach residents and visitors
• We get together to learn about boating and boating safety, along with just having a great camaraderie.

The club was founded in 1973, so we will celebrating our 50th anniversary this year!
