Boats need to read the sheet of rules emailed after they register and acknowledge that they will comply.
One rule on names is that numbered plaques will not be provided for boats in the parade. Each boat, as it approaches the town pier will announce the boat's name to the announcer. The announcer will also ask for the name after he has completed annuncing the prvious boat.

CB Annual Lighted Boat Parade

Register your boat! Join us for a great winter parade! A Captain's meeting will be held at noon at Dockside, lunch available for purchase. Boats will gather at 4:30 PM at buoy 2 on the Potomac River, just outside CB. At 5:00 the boat parade will start and proceed to the town pier, to arrive at 5:15, then continue to past 12th street. There the boats will turn and proceed back to Monroe Bay. An after party will start at Dockside at 7:00, when the awards are announced. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes will be awarded in four categories: Yacht 35+', Cruiser <35', pontoon and runabout, and sail and workboat.
